Simple job but excited to use actual wood. I think it was a chunk of cedar I found lying around. Took a little longer to dress down as we don’t have a thicknesser so hand planned to size. Good practice for me and yet another occasion where I feel much more confident with my planning since boat school. Regret using oil based stain and varnish combo on the wettest days in Sydney ever.
